On every graphing page, BOWDE gives you a window to read specific information about your transfer function.

Phase Margin & Gain Crossover Frequency:

For each of your transfer function, BOWDE automatically compute gain crossover frequency $\omega_{0dB}$(the frequency at which the gain of the transfer function is equal to 0) using the bisection method (algorithm).

The phase margin is then computed using its definition: $M_\phi = \arg(H(i\omega_{0dB})) + 180°$

Gain Margin & Phase Crossover Frequency:

For each of your transfer function, BOWDE automatically compute phase crossover frequency $\omega_{-180°}$ (the frequency at which tha phase of the transfer function is equal to -180°) using the bissection method (algorithm).

The gain margin is then computed using its definition: $M_{dB} =-|H(i\omega_{-180°})|$

Settling Time (5% of the end value):

For each of your transfer function, BOWDE automatically compute its settling time (time at which the time response of your transfer function is greater than 95% of the end value (if it exists)) using a double threshold method.
